Katie has been performing classical crossover harp music since 2005, performing with artists including McFly, Aled Jones, Celeste and Camilla Kerslake. She has performed at venues as diverse as Buckingham Palace, the Ritz, Wembley Pavilion Arena, the Gherkin and Royal Hospital Chelsea and has recorded with record labels including Deutsche Grammophon, Decca and Demon records.

Katie plays both fullsize classical harp and mini electric harp, offering repertoire ranging from Bryan Adams to Bach and from Canon in D to Coldplay.

She is based in Wiltshire and also performs in Hampshire, Dorset, London, Surrey, Devon, Somerset and further afield.

Technical Requirement: HOW MUCH SPACE DO YOU NEED?
I will need approximately 1m x 2m floor space, which is about the size of an average office desk.

CAN YOU TAKE THE HARP UP AND DOWN STAIRS?
In most cases the answer is yes, providing the stair area is large enough for the harp to fit. It is unlikely that I will be able to do this on my own. At some venues the staff will help me, but sometimes the ushers or other wedding guests will need to help.
If the staircase is exceptionally narrow at the venue, or if it is a spiral staircase, then it will no be possible to use the full size classical harp. In this situation you may wish to consider the celtic harp or the mini electric harp, both of which are more portable.
Please ask for further information if you are considering celtic/electric harp.
