Having graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Music, where she was awarded the Alexander Stone Award for excellence in performance, she has become a full-time professional musician in demand both as a performer and as a harp teacher worldwide.

Rachel has released 4 internationally critically acclaimed albums and her trio was nominated “Best Scottish Folk Band of the Year” in the MG Alba Scots Trad Awards. They have performed and toured throughout the UK, Europe and the USA and have established themselves as a vibrant new force on today's folk scene, opening up fresh horizons for Scotland's oldest instrument.

When at home in Scotland she is in constant demand as a wedding/corporate harpist and has a reputation second to none allowing to her become the first called upon harpist for Scotland’s top venues including Edinburgh Castle, Stirling Castle, Cameron House, and the Royal Scotsman Train.
This has led her to performing to dignitaries and celebrities including the Queen, Prince Phillip, the First Minister Alex Salmond, Gordon Ramsey and Ronnie Corbett.
