"We wanted a live band at our wedding and we spent a lot of time researching bands. We found Get Funked online and they looked perfect.
The music was exactly as we wanted. The closer it got to our wedding the more excited we became and we were hoping the band lived up to our expectations.
Well they were better by far than anything we expected. Even the stage setup and lighting were impressive, let alone the band.
They were simply incredible and did a superb job of getting everyone on to the dance floor. The music was brilliant and they tailored it to our specific soul / funk choices. They even performed our first song dance which was amazing. All in all they were the highlight of the day.
Our only regret was not booking them for longer! Everyone commented on how incredible they were and the main topic of conversation at breakfast the following day was simply about how good the band was! Suffice to say we would happily recommend and book Get Funked again. Amazing."

Hello Martyn. Firstly, a HUGE thank you for all your efforts to have contributed to Zeb and Olivia's wedding - your contribution with your team and the band were flawless and made the evening flow perfectly, in fact it seemed like it only lasted 10 minutes.
As for your 'relatively unknown band' - they were superb on every level - performance, variety and generally they gave out so very much as performers and we all noticed, and appreciated that on the midnight hour when they could have stopped, they kept playing well past the allotted time.
The arrangements (by your drummer I believe you mentioned) were the foundation for every piece performed, moving from style-to-style effortlessly. You mentioned that each separately did sessions, etc. and if interested, I'd be happy to put them forward to our production company who work with a roster of composers/arrangers/MDs. Thank you again Martyn, and wishing you continued success.

the Funtime Frankies were truly exceptional

My name is Ricky B. and I have been the Resident DJ at Garstang Country Hotel for the last 6 years. Before becoming a DJ I performed as a singer/ guitarist around pubs and clubs throughout the Nort-West .I have played alongside many bands in that time and I have got to say that the Funtime Frankies were truly exceptional . They played alongside me at a wedding on Easter Sunday 2015 and were stunning. Most bands tend to be"over loud" which is not only painful, but also tends to cover a lack of musicianship. These lads were really polite and ultra- professional. The range of material they can play is also unrivalled, in my opinion.
Their versions of "Livin' on a Prayer" and particularly "Uptown Funk" really need to be witnessed live because they were as good as the original recordings- yes they really are THAT good! I have never recommended DJ,s or Bands before, but I really feel that the Funtime Frankies are the best band that I have heard in the last ten years , you won't get deafened! And you'll hear every professional note that played and sung! Brilliant and well done,Ricky B Resident DJ

Katie & Stephen have jetted off to Antigua for a couple of weeks and no doubt they will want to thank you themselves on their return, but we wanted to get in touch ourselves to say how great the band were on Sunday.
